What We Fund:
Health

Everyone deserves access to quality, affordable healthcare.

All people deserve access to quality healthcare, regardless of their ability to pay. For families and adults living in poverty, it can be difficult to access the preventive care that they and their children need to lead healthy, productive lives. Therefore, we invest in safety net healthcare. We think of safety net healthcare as underfunded care provided to under-resourced communities. Within safety net healthcare, we prioritize preventive care, especially for kids and families, such as: primary care, family planning, maternal & perinatal care, healthy brain and early childhood development, mental health, oral health, abuse prevention, and suicide prevention.
